“ My favorite Frutas in SD, I've been to a few of them & this one is my favorite. As far as the food goes it's good & taste the same in all the ones I went to which is a good thing because consistency of the taste of food from the same small businesses is hard to accomplish & a good thing when you can. Tho the food was good in all the 3 locations I went to the service wasn't. And that's why I like this one better, the service at this location was friendlier & more attentive & FASTER! For some reason the other ones I've gotten too are slow even when it's not busy but not here the workers are fast, if it's busy or not & just friendlier. My favorite items here are the Tuna Sandwich or melt, they have great tuna here & the Torta De Lomo. Frutas over all probably has the best Lomo in SD & this place makes it with love. They have good smoothies & drinks too & I love their fruit bowl with honey & cottage cheese & their small Pico. I'm also a fan of their Lentil Soup as well. Their food is very fresh & good & Frutas overall is one of the better tasting Mexican Deli's in SD but this one is my favorite. Keep up the good work Frutas on Broadway & see you soon :) ”

“ I have been here many times and they always have fresh good food at fair prices. Sometimes there's a long wait in the morning because it's very popular. But there's been other times where is almost nobody in line. I especially enjoy the large fruit salads, and the tortas. It's a good place to come to if you're waiting for your car to get fixed at discount tire which is next-door. ”

“ Walking along Broadway and my sister and i chanced upon this place. I haven't had tortas in a while so i was somewhat excited to try theirs. We ordered Bionico and Lomo tortas! Oh my goodness! The torta bread was crisp on the outside but soft on the inside, warm to perfection and very tasty. Fresh ingredients! The bionico? Fruits were sweet and the cream was just right. Not too sweet. I've recommended this place to friends and family. I hope they go and try it! I forgot to take pictures since we were so famished already! ”

They have smoothies, natural juices, fruit salads, diet juices, raspados, sandwiches, tortas, wraps, and snack items. The prices are average, the place is clean, there is indoor seating, and a few parking spots in front. I have been here multiple times, and this place is always busy. The vibe is low key, and the service is good. The fruit is fresh, and smoothies are refreshing. The watermelon smoothie is my favorite and delicious. The bionico was very good and filling. I enjoyed the fruit and cream combination, but I wish it had more granola. Overall decent place for a smoothie to quinch your thirst. ”
